Meet the team at Loren's Auto!
Loren Sallee
is the founder of Loren’s Auto Repair. He grew up on a farm in Willow Creek, MT where he learned to make and repair just about anything on the farm. After high school he attended college specializing in Agriculture Mechanics and then trained as a jet engine mechanic in the Air Force. Later he continued his studies at Montana Auto College in Great Falls, MT. Loren spent many years as a Technician at the local General Motors dealerships until he started Loren’s Auto Repair in 1985. Loren is ASE Master certified and has over 40 years of professional industry experience. He is married to Denise his business partner and they have 2 grown children and now 4 young grandchildren. Loren enjoys hiking, boating, fishing, and just about anything done outdoors in our beautiful state. Loren is very involved with many Christian ministries and is a board member of the Kalispell Chamber of Commerce.
Denise Sallee
is co-owner of Loren’s Auto Repair. She was born and raised in Bozeman, MT and attended MSU majoring in Home Economic and Business. She enjoys visiting with the customers and doing a variety of things around the office. Denise and Loren have two grown children, Katrina and Mike Hubner of Belgrade MT and Travis and Sandy of Kalispell, MT. Loren and Denise are the proud Grandparents of three grand children, all born since 2006. Denise enjoys cooking, crafts and homemaking.
Travis Sallee
is the son of Loren & Denise Sallee. He grew up in and around Loren’s Auto Repair and has returned to the Flathead Valley after 16 years. Travis has spent most of his professional career with Hewlett-Packard in the IT Services Sector. Travis also brings experience in corporate accounting and business ownership. Travis earned a B.S. in Accounting in 1997 and a B.S. in Information Technology in 2000, both from DeVry University in Phoenix, Arizona.
MARK LOCKWOOD
An automotive industry professional for over 15 years, Mark Lockwood joined our team in 2012 and has been an excellent addition to our team. Between holding positions as a Technician, Parts Counterman, and Service Advisor in the past and working on racecars in his free time, Mark knows his way around today’s vehicles as well as the auto repair business in general. Mark is happily married and spends his free time camping, 4-wheeling, and watching NASCAR.
CHAD PETERSON
came to us from Las Vegas, NV where he worked for one of the premier Chevrolet dealerships in the area. While he grew up in the desert, he developed a love for the mountains of Montana when he would come here to help work at his families cherry orchard on Flathead Lake. Chad loves the auto repair industry and and knows what it takes to keep vehicles operating safe and worry free. When he is not helping us here at the shop, Chad has been busy developing a property and building a home in the area.
Sabin Holcomb
A 22+ year veteran at Loren’s Auto Repair, and our longest tenured employee, Sabin is a tremendous example of professionalism within our business and our industry as a whole. Holding a degree in Automotive and Diesel Technology from Universal Technical Institute, a variety of Master and Advanced Level Certifications through Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) as well as countless other industry and factory certifications from, Sabin doesn’t shy away when called upon for some of our toughest diagnoses. Sabin has two children, Trey and Blake who love to spend time with their dad. When not fixing cars for us, Sabin likes to spend time with his kids, helping friends and family and a host of outdoor activities such as camping, fishing, 4-wheeling, etc. Sabin was honored with the NAPA ASE Technician of the Year Award for 2018.
JOHN TRETTER
Our second longest tenured employee of 19 years at Loren’s Auto Repair is John Tretter. Having a fairly quiet demeanor and never one to brag, don’t let this combination fool you because John is incredibly polished and skilled at his trade. Customer’s love it when they see John working on their vehicle because they know the level of care he takes and that he can fix just about anything. With a degree in Automotive Technology, a variety of Master and Advanced Level Certifications through Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) as well as countless other industry and factory certifications, John has the ability to work on just about any type of issue or degree of diagnoses. Happily married for many years, John and his wife are raising two beautiful you daughters. As a family they love the outdoors, horsemanship and being together. John was honored with the Napa ASE Technician of the Year Award for 2019.
RYAN SANFORD
Joining us in 2012, Ryan is our newest Master Level Technician. Starting out his career, Ryan joined Mercedes-Benz and spent over 10 years honing his craft and achieving his Master Technician Certification. Having the ability to service a variety of different European vehicles, Ryan is who we look to when it comes to anything Mercedes, BMW, Audi or the like. A great addition to our team, Ryan takes the level of care and consideration with vehicles that was evident from his first day on the job. Holding a degree in Automotive Technology from Universal Technical Institute, a variety of Mercedes, ASE, and other factory and industry certifications, Ryan has proven himself as a very adept and experienced professional. Ryan is happily married and father of three. When Ryan can usually found on a bicycle of some type. Whether it is a road bike or a mountain bike, he likes to start early in the spring and will ride as late into the year as he can.
Nathan Sloan
Nathan is joined our team in 2019 after moving from Sandwich, IL. Nate visited our area several times to visit Glacier Nation Park and to go camping. Nate fell in love with our area and new he wanted to move to Montana. He has been a great addition to our team.
Gabe Flammond
Gabe is our newest technician within the shop. After graduating from Glacier High School, Gabe wanted to pursue a career in the automotive field. Gabe is currently going through the Napa Automotive Technician Apprenticeship Program, a two year apprenticeship that will help him develop as a technician.
KIM HOLLOWAY
is our bookkeeper at Loren's Auto Repair but often you will find her helping out in many other areas such as with customers at the front counter, posting things on social media, and just helping out where she can. Kim is happily married with two young girls. When she is not helping us at the shop, Kim spends a lot of time volunteering with Girls on The Run which helps teach young girls life lessons about physical fitness, achieving goals, and overcoming obsticles. Kim loves the outdoors and loves her family.
