Meet Our Staff of Professionals

Loren Sallee

is the founder of Loren’s Auto Repair. He grew up on a farm in Willow Creek, MT where he learned to make and repair just about anything on the farm. After high school he attended college specializing in Agriculture Mechanics and then trained as a jet engine mechanic in the Air Force. Later he continued his studies at Montana Auto College in Great Falls, MT. Loren spent many years as a Technician at the local General Motors dealerships until he started Loren’s Auto Repair in 1985. Loren is ASE Master certified and has over 40 years of professional industry experience. He is married to Denise his business partner and they have 2 grown children and now 3 young grandchildren. Loren enjoys hiking, boating, fishing, and just about anything done outdoors in our beautiful state.  Loren is very involved with many Christian ministries and is a board member of the Kalispell Chamber of Commerce.

Denise Sallee

is co-owner of Loren’s Auto Repair. She was born and raised in Bozeman, MT and attended MSU majoring in Home Economic and Business. She enjoys visiting with the customers and doing a variety of things around the office. Denise and Loren have two grown children, Katrina and Mike Hubner of Belgrade MT and Travis and Sandy of Kalispell, MT. Loren and Denise are the proud Grandparents of three grand children, all born since 2006. Denise enjoys cooking, crafts and homemaking.

Travis Sallee

is the son of Loren & Denise Sallee. He grew up in and around Loren’s Auto Repair and has returned to the Flathead Valley after 16 years. Travis has spent most of his professional career with Hewlett-Packard in the IT Services Sector. Travis also brings experience in corporate accounting and business ownership. Travis earned a B.S. in Accounting in 1997 and a B.S. in Information Technology in 2000, both from DeVry University in Phoenix, Arizona.

Sabin Holcomb

was born and raised in Kalispell, graduated from FHS in 1996, took 1 year off and worked at Bitney’s Furniture for college money. He attended UTI in Phoenix, AZ. and graduated December 1998.  Sabin began his career with Loren’s Auto Repair in 1999 and currently an ASE Master Automotive Technician with a wall full of additional industry certifications.   Sabin and his wife became proud new parents when they welcomed their first child in 2011.

Baxter

is now our current official greeter. He has become very dedicated to his job and owes his success to Pete who trained him as a puppy.  Being raised around the shop has given him a very mild and friendly disposition.

In Memory of  Peta

Peta was our loyal shop greeter, guard dog and Loren’s shadow for many years. She always greeted customers with her signature smile and wagging tail which instantly worked her way into the hearts of our employees and customers alike. Peta or ‘Pete’ as she was known, trained her future replacement, Baxter, for a number of months before she passed away 2002.
